NSF 61 Approved Gaskets
Gmors offers premium quality custom EPDM gaskets in accordance with the
requirements of NSF-61 for use with drinking water systems. Applications are
found in potable water process filtration systems, distribution systems and
hot and cold water systems. When selecting
an NSF/ANSI 61 material, engineers take into consideration temperature
requirements as well as equipment maintenance intervals. Exposure to
sunlight, ozone and weathering are also factors to be considered.
In meeting with the increasing demands in the drinking water and sanitary
industry for NSF-61 approved materials, Gmors has developed an extensive
range of o-rings, seals and gaskets of varying material types. Applications
of our products are found in water heaters, appliances, valves and pumps,
filtration equipment, drinking fountains, faucets and water treatment
systems.
NSF-61 compounds are tested at pH levels of 5, 8 and 10, which are typically
found in waters in the US and Canada. Chemical testing involves sodium
hypochlorite or bleach, which is a disinfectant for potable water systems.
